God is on the move in Bangladesh!

Dear Friends, This will be my fourth walk-a-thon to support Bangla Ministries Worldwide (BMW) and I am sending this letter to ask you to prayerfully consider sponsoring me. The Event takes place on May 14, 2018 at Sunnybrook Country Club in Grandville, Mi. Funds we receive will help share Jesus with the Bengali people who are extremely impoverished spiritually and materially. With 250 million people, less than one-half of 1% know Jesus. For those of you who may not be familiar with BMW it involves only one American paid staff member, Pastor Dave DeCook, overseeing 17 Bengali national in-country staff members who are involved in leading 225 Bible study groups in 17 districts in Bangladesh. Dave is aided in various ways by two US based paid Bengali nationals who have US Citizenship. This ministry started five years ago with 3 in-country Bengali leaders and 150 students. In 2017 we saw 14 Bengali staff leaders leading 1500 (a 10 fold increase!) in 14 districts, with 769 students passing the test material and getting a graduation certificate. The Bible study groups in Bangladesh follow a set study program and BMW regularly tests the students to be sure they understand the Scriptural truths. Once a year Dave goes to Bangladesh to conduct graduation exercises in the five centralized areas and to hand out diplomas as well as to do leadership training.
