My name is Shimul Mollick. I was born on March 3, 1984. My father’s name is Dilip Mollick. I live in Malumghat tea garden, Chokoria, Cox’s Bazar. I was born in a Christian family, so I got chance to know about Jesus from my childhood. But I didn’t know how important salvation is for us. I used to maintain a Christian life by myself, but my sin wasn’t forgiven until I attended a camp in 1998. It was a youth camp, and a sermon touched my heart. Specifically, the verse 1 Corinthians 8:6, which reads, “yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live… And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ. All things are through him, and we exist through him.”
I understood that I wasn’t Christian at all. I was a sinner, and I hadn’t asked Jesus for forgiveness and hadn’t asked Him to be my savior. That day I confessed my sin to Jesus and sought forgiveness. I received the Christ in my heart. From then, my life was totally changed. I started to think and look over things in a new perspective. I started to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit in my life and finally took baptism September 28, 2001. Now my greatest wish and desire is to devote myself in preaching the gospel. Please keep me in your prayer so that I can stay faithful in Him.
