New staff work reports
-The new work report format presented at last board meeting based on each persons job description is used for the first time in Attachments 4-6. This is the result of the two meetings with Dennis and Bill Wolf (starting in August) and a final meeting with Bill Wolf before the Nov 4 meeting.
Matthew’s work report
(We have not redesigned Matthew’s report yet)
-Matthew returned from auditing Dinajpur district and administering tests
-Matthew and Mou journeyed to Barishal. It took 13 hours this time.
-Mou audited Barishal
-Matthew audited Khulna and Jessore. Khulna ministry declined in many areas while Rose had her marriage struggles. Fortunately 100 girls in one hostel joined and fortunately Satish joined our staff and is helping tie things together.
-As requested by the BMW board, Matthew provided a new budget right away based on the $5000 per month support according to the Nov. 4 decision. See Attachment 7
Thomas and Gita are inviting the whole board to their house for a noon meal on Friday, December 8. This is their way of praising God for the new house in Zeeland that God provided. They hope it will host Adult Foster Clients by which Gita can stay home and earn income.
Recommendation for Thomas Roy
-Thomas will be in Bangladesh until April 8. By the summer we will be able to fully asses his effectiveness in his new role as staff trainer. He will have 25 more podcasts to record to finish our first set of material, the Knowing God series, which will take until the end of September to finish. I recommend we extend his tenure at least until then with all the same pay and benefits.
Housing allowance requests
-Thomas Roy requests $15,000 be designated as housing allowance.
-Dave DeCook requests $24,000 be designated as housing allowance.
