How to help with the Golf/Walk/Run
1. Become a participant. This means to set aside May 14 on your calendar, to set up a personal campaign page and ask people to sponsor you in the time leading up to the event.
2. Invite people to come with you. We need at least a couple dozen people to be on the course all day who are interested in BMW, good friends, raving fans, family members, great fund-raisers or first time fund raisers. The number of people present should swell to maybe 50 for dinner. The reason this is important is that the event needs to maintain an atmosphere of celebration and lower numbers will work against that. Also, from the people you invite, seek to get some more as participants. We need around 20 to get a decent amount of individual fundraising.
3. Help us find corporate sponsors. Half of the funds come from corporate donors. You can approach them yourself or refer them to me and Bill.
