I am from Kushtia, a child of a Christian family. I moved to Khulna in 2001. I knew about God and Christ, like the other Christians, but I didn’t really understand the meaning of salvation. In 2011, I attended a church program in Dhaka. They taught about sin. From that I realized I was in sin. I was living a sinful life. I felt that since God loved me so much, I should confess my sins to Him. I still didn’t understand about salvation. After returning home, the concept of sin was stirring in my heart as I continued to do the same sins. I wanted to change my life and stop sinning. I had a strong hunger for knowing God. I started to read the Bible more and more to understand God’s plan for my life. I had no peace in my heart, and felt stuck in my sin. I wanted to get free. I studied the Bible more and more. Then I came across Jesus’ meeting with the Samaritan woman in John 4. He said, “Anyone who takes the water I give will never thirst again.” At that time I submitted myself to the Lord Jesus as the Samaritan woman did and accepted his salvation and his living water that only He can give. Other verses helped me (John 3:16) to know that Jesus was my Savior. I decided to leave my sin and follow Jesus. After that day my life was changed. God accepted me as his child. I began to serve the Lord, joining BMW in 2012. I am still serving the Lord through BMW.
